Medication stolen from a parked vehicle on Pembina Highway on Saturday night can be quite dangerous, police warn.
The medication was taken from a vehicle in the area of the 2000-block of Pembina Highway between 6:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m.
It included three pre-loaded syringes containing Copaxone — prescribed for treating multiple sclerosis — and 100 Baclofen tablets, another drug used for treating MS.
Winnipeg police said the drugs, taken alone or in combination with other drugs or alcohol, could be fatal.
Anyone locating lost or stolen medication can contact police or turn it in to any police station or hospital.
